The picture on the right is a picture taken of me during our Computer Graphics class, I edited the picture in photoshop and transformed it to the picture on the left. It's almost hard to believe that they're the same picture. I used tutorials to take my face and put it on Beyonce's body. This proves that you can't trust magazine covers because there is no telling what changes they could have made to the picture. You can do everything from applying makeup to changing a persons entire body. The fact that people continue to edit and change photos in magazines shows that people have a distorted view of the perfect body image, because today's "perfect" isn't even real, it's generated by a computer. No one can live up to this image because no one is as perfect as the fake people in the media. One thing I think I did very well on was matching my skin tone to Beyonce's, I did this by changing the hue/saturation and changing the brightness/contrast. Another thing I think I did well on was applying makeup to my face. Something I could improve on is positioning my face to where it looks more natural and less awkward. I also could of spend more time on the forehead, because you can kind of see the difference in the skin color and "my" forehead looks really big.
